Astrology is viewed by many as an esoteric study that does not have any scientific theory. Regardless of whether it is Eastern or Western astrology, the theory behind it is highly scientific and cannot be dismissed as a mere superstition. If we were to use logic to understand how astrology actually influences us, you will have second thoughts about dismissing it as a mere superstition.

The Moon, being the closest planet to Earth, naturally exerts a large amount of gravitational force on the water body, causing it to experience high and low tides. Now let’s talk about the human body. The human body consists of seventy percent fluid. This amount of fluid is extremely small in amount, relative to the water mass on the Earth’s surface. Do you think that the gravitational forces exerted by the heavenly bodies in the solar system is unable to influence the human body when it already has so much influence on the water located on Earth? Think hard about it.

The heavenly bodies in the solar system have a predictable course over a certain time frame. This means that, a highly spiritual teacher who appeared at a point of time in the history of mankind can actually re appear in the future. To put it even more simply, for a Warren Buffet who appears right now, another man with similar characteristics like Warren will appear in the far but predictable future.

How can gravitational force affect our decisions at all? Let’s observe this: during a full Moon, animals in the forest will be busily making a lot of noises. Why is that so? It is because the full Moon are influencing them to attract the opposite sex for mating. Animals, being on a lower plane in terms of decision making, as compared to humans, definitely succumb to their emotions. Remember, emotions create actions and in turn creates events. Events then cause certain emotions and drive more actions. Human are constantly being affected by the planets, creating emotions. However, humans have something special, which is the power of logic. They can make use of logic to judge if an action is justifiable.

The gravitational forces exerted by the planets influences the fluid in our body. Our brain is made up of mostly fluids. The neurons in our brains travels in brain fluid, therefore the gravitational forces can affect the neuron paths. Affecting the neuron paths has a dramatic impact on our thinking and bodily functions. It can conjure up certain thoughts and emotions through chemical releases, which then affects our actions.

Astrology is a very highly scientific field of study which requires a lot of logic in understanding it. However, as time passes, many aspects of astrology get mired in myths and superstition beliefs which undermine the true theory behind it. Next time you come across Eastern or Western Astrology, maybe you might want to pay a bit more attention to it, without dismissing it at the first notion.
